Sharon Mey - VBDS Charity Manager		Becky Douglas-Jones - Trustee
Sharon founded VBDS in June 2020, and manages the day-to-day running of the charity. She ran her own property rental company in South Africa and has many years of admin experience in higher education in the UK. Sharon lives in Potton, is married to Ashley, with 4 adult children and 7 grandchildren. She is a member of a local church, enjoys organic, no dig gardening at the allotment, helps to run a community food garden, and loves walking her dogs in the countryside with Ashley.		Becky is a founding member of VBDS, and advises VBDS on all aspects of volunteer and charity work. She is a qualified Social Worker and works for a charity called Acacia Family Support as their Assistant Operations Director. Acacia supports mums and their families suffering with pre- and post-natal depression and anxiety.  In 2021 their volunteers were successfully nominated for the Queens Award, the highest award for volunteers in the UK.  Becky lives in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham with her husband and 3 children. She is a member of a local church and enjoys gardening and walking Romanian rescue dog Luna in Sutton Park.
Adam Johannes - Trustee		Simon West - Trustee
Adam joined VBDS as a Trustee in spring 2021 to assist with managing the website and the charity's digital presence. He has been CEO of a software (www.hubb.digital) company since 2016 and also runs his own side hobby about compost (www.compostguy.co.uk). Adam is (was!) a keen golfer and gardener. He can be found at local garden centre cafes eating breakfast with his kids Ashton, India, Riaz, Erin and wife Jen at the weekends. Adam and his family attend their local church.		Simon joined VBDS as a Trustee in April 2021 to manage the finances for the charity. Simon works as an external business consultant for a number of companies, having previously run his own insurance company for many years.  Simon and his wife live in Potton, and he enjoys walking in the countryside and spending time with their adult children and grandchildren.
Ibim Banigo - Trustee
Ibim initially joined VBDS as a volunteer in 2020, and became a valued Trustee in early 2024. Ibim is a business professional with a broad skills set including engineering, commercial, finance, strategy, business development, legal & compliance, procurement, and sustainability.  Ibim has two children, and is a committed Christian and church goer.
