Tesco Stronger Starts 

Wow, Tesco Sandy shoppers! You donated 4 trolleyloads of produce to the Veg Box Donation Scheme in just 3 hours! A huge thank you to each one of you who gave a veg or fruit on Saturday 5th April for the charity veg boxes, and to Tesco Sandy, and particularly Kayleigh Castle, for their support.



From 1 April to 30 June the Veg Box Donation Scheme (VBDS) will be one of the three organisations put forward to a customer vote in Tesco stores, in the Tesco Stronger Starts programme. The project with the highest number of votes across our region will receive £1,500, the second placed project £1,000, and the third placed project £500.

These are the stores where you can vote for VBDS:

Shefford Express SG17

To vote, you will need to make a purchase of any value within the store to receive a blue token, and it's not necessary to purchase a carrier bag in order to receive a token. Place the token in the Veg Box Donation Scheme section of the voting box near the exit.
